What is music distribution?
Generally speaking, music distribution is the way the music industry makes recorded music available to the public. In modern times, the most common way recorded music is distributed to consumers is online – for example, through Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, YouTube Music, iTunes and many more.
These platforms are commonly referred to as Digital Service Providers or ‘DSP’s’. Before your music can be made available to purchase, download or stream online via these channels, you will typically need a commercial relationship with these providers – and that’s where distribution companies come in.

Why is Artist Studio Distribution different to other distribution companies?
